Setup Email in Outlook 2013

This article will help you configure your Email in Outlook 2013!

 

1.    Go to Start, All Programs, and scroll down and expand Microsoft Office. Double-click Outlook 2013.

 

2.    The program will begin to start and open a configuration wizard. On the Add Account windows, select the E-mail Account bubble, and enter the following information:

          Your Name: Enter your first and last name

          E-mail Address: Enter your email address

          Password: Enter the password provided

          Retype Password: Enter the password again

 

3.    Click Next.

 

4.    The next screen will search for the mail server, establish a network connection, search for your email settings, then logon to the mail server.

 

5.    During the process in step 4, a window asking, "Allow this website to configure *your email address* server settings?" will appear. Check the box next to Don't ask me about this website again and click Allow.

 

6.    Now a Windows Security window will pop up. Enter the following information:

          Username: Your email address

          Password: Enter the password provided

          Check the box next to Remember my credentials

 

7.    Click OK.

 

8.    The account will finish configuring and display 3 green checks. Click Finish.

 

9.    Outlook will finish creating the profile and open.

 

Congratulations! You have successfully added your email to Outlook 2013!
